From Naked Wines. E, M and I all enjoyed it — 3 years ago

Obviously way too young. 14.1% quite high for E&M. Classic perfumed nose, Give it 45 min in a big glass. High toned raspberry, cranberry, hint bitter, touch white pepper, orange rind, oregano, lime. Classic E&M. Needs at least 5 years. So light and elegant on it’s feet. A superb Pinot in every aspect and a class in its own. Will be a 10 in the future. Bought at Mayfield Restaurant in San Juan de Capistrano at lunch. — 5 years ago
This is insane. The new Liaison from Sven’s new winery. Gorgeous nose that really recaptures that E and M magic from 2009 and 2010. Deep cherries. Black cherries. Galore. Lipstick like intensity. Smells like elite Nuits St. Georges. Mindblowing for how pure it is. The most unreal dark black cherry fruit you’ve ever smelled. Like AI levels of black cherry. Also a lovely chalky background and compelling minerality. Blackberry and blackberry flower as well. So juicy and engaging with terrific power and wow that black cherry and blackberry fruit. Unreal freshness and sap. Awesome concentration and intensity and super small berry fruit intensity. This is so insanely delicious and has terrific backbone and structure for mid term aging. Now with air the florals are starting to go crazy. Also tree bark and other non fruit aromas. Just so good. Wow the concentration is off the charts. This is utterly compelling and unlike anything I have ever had from Germany. Genius. — 2 years ago
Wild and animalistic. For sure not something i would expect from a GC. The guests liked it but mostly i think for the GC label. The wine needs tons of air. But it tends to be overoxided before the limited flavors comes through. And i just can’t ignore that. For sure no match at all for an E&M big boy not even close. Pretty harsh tannins, orange rind and essentially almost no fruit. — 3 years ago
Good for the Sunday dinner. In Korea I bought it about 40 USD. Thanks E-mart wine sales manager. — 6 years ago
German Pinot Night - Huber has his own oak forest which he uses for his barrels - so he does not use American Oak as one of the reviews suggested. Much more fruit than E&M. A lot of folks loved this wine for me too much fruit but still an excellent wine. Orange zest - lime - plenty of tannins. This has 5-10 year left. Green tea - tart apples 🍏 and hint of cherry. Not imported to the US - suitcase Import. — 7 years ago
A cold, rainy day in the Berkshires today, several degrees cooler and we'd be getting snow instead. I'm not ready, still yardwork to get done this season!
A head-to-head matchup today, '15 vs. '16 E&M 'Müller' Müller-Thurgau. This '15 is our last bottle, so this is the final evolution check. 😕
No evidence of dissolved gas (CO2 or N2) in this bottle like the '16 showed, but it got a decant anyways. Gold-yellow in color, distinctly different from the '16 today.
Nose has smoked honey, almonds, tropical fruit skins, extra ripe mango and light aroma of crushed minerals.
Palate has gotten crazy complex, honey, stone fruits, pineapple core, tangerine, lemon pith and mashed tropical fruit. Evolving more with each sip, finish is picking up a nice apricot note.
Wow what a difference the extra year makes. Likely we're hiding the remainder of our '16 away for maybe a year or two, hopeful on a similar evolution. — 8 years ago

No funk whatsoever the orange wines of E&M all rock. — 2 years ago
Tasted the E&M line up at the winery. It was mind blowing!!!!!🤯. These are the best wines they ever made. Both the reds and the whites were great from top to bottom. Kirsch Sauerkirsche, red currant, tart.
Light and elegant hint herbs a stupido good wine. And for the price unbeatable. — 2 years ago
E&M Weissburgunder goes feral beyond their trademark restrained wild spirit.
4 days of skins, it's copper tones, grippy, and full of acetone. And it's really good. Wild but grown up, responsible.
Expressively generous aromas loaded up with sour fruit and vinegar - naval orange, apricot, basil, and VA that tickles the back upper parts. Powerful long flavors too - sour apricot, pear, and sweet orange. Wonderful. — 4 years ago

Words escape me...Notes later, best E&M Rosé to date!
Nose has ripe cranberry, mashed raspberry, blood orange flesh, mashed strawberry, recently cut grass, oak bark and a pint of cherries.
Palate has tart cherry, strawberry, over-ripe raspberry, fresh Clementine peel, (minor) baking spice, cold plum with a long finish. Weighty yet finessed
I can't believe I'm stating this, but I think this wine exceeds the 2017 version, which I thought was bonkers, this is better! — 6 years ago
