Pretty, forward ripe fruit reflecting dark berries. A bit smoky with good structure for food. We need to stock this one.

Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, and spice. The palate adds notes of licorice and sweet berries leading to a long persistent finish. 100% Tempranillo, aged 15 months in oak, from a small, organic estate. Very well-made and enjoyable. 2012 vintage on April 2, 2019

Probably my favorite tempranillo! So smooth yet dark, beware its addictive.

Fairly soft at PnP but as planned, I gave this about 6h slow ox. The time softened it to velvet, and blew off the musty oak to reveal something clean, focused, yet complex. Layer aromatics of eucalyptus, black cherry, plum, lavender/violet, and black tea. Lively, fresh fruit strikes you with a touch of ma la as they say in Chinese - here, mild numbing spice - wrapped in a border of light, clean acid and that velvety upholstery, finishing with black plum. It’s an everyday quaff, and one that will keep your attention.

Medium bouquet, nice acid and fruit balance, but abrupt, short finish. Better with food.

Fantastic. Earthy on the nose. Very forward but well balanced. Great fruit.

I liked the rich fruit. We had this with NY strip steak with a spice rub and I think it balanced the meat well.
