2023 Dr. Loosen Erdener Prälat Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel. On the nose honey, and tropical fruit: guava papaya, hint of spice; almost white pepper; tangerine, jasmine. On the palate, good concentration; honey more beautifully ripe mango (almost like a creamy mango lassi), tangerine, very nice apricots; slate minerality; a spine of acidity balances all the ripe fruit. The fruit quality shines here so I don’t feel bad drinking this young. — 7 months ago

Dry and very classic tasting Riesling. Wet stone, lime, honeysuckle, green apple, green pear, flint, and the faintest hint of petrol.
