2020 vintage. A tad earthier than the vast majority of Santa Rita Hills stuff I’ve ripped through. 13.5% ABV. Medium body. The expected SRH prettiness is front-loaded fruit with the dirtiness following on the finish. Excellent concentration and a whopping 75 cases made. — a year ago
Bright cherries and char. Decent amount of minerality. Getting a rubbery quality at the tail end. Chewy and delicious. — 5 months ago
Great Chardonnay. Needed 3+ hours of being open to come together. More bread and hay on nose, tropical fruits, honeysuckle, a hint of citrus. Palate is lively with acidity. Some lemon, honey, brioche, pineapple, tart peach, and a lingering perfume after swallowing. Lovely. — 2 years ago
SYV Syrah from Matteo’s, Peake Ranch and Donnachadh vineyards. The blend is superb as the wine reflects the region perfectly — 3 years ago

I think this is the estate Chardonnay vs. the st. Rita hills. Somewhat confusing. Anyway this is amazing right now. Nose of cream, lemon, peach. Palate is coated by creaminess, lemon and orange galore, stone fruit, nectarine mostly, there’s a salinity that’s so nice. It definitely gets into sea water and lemongrass at the end, but this is overall a more creamy and brioche wine. So complex. One of my favorite chards in recent memory. — 2 months ago
