Liquid sunshine! Easily one of the best whites of the year so far is this Condrieu from Yves Cuilleron. A drop-dead gorgeous wine that soaks the palate with a multitude of tropical fruits and a cotton wool texture, whilst keeping the drama alive with good acidity. The finish is impressively long and ends on a distinctly dry, slightly bitter note that only adds to the overall complexity. Incredibly enjoyable and - whisper it - a bloody good accompaniment to takeaway tandoori chicken. — 5 years ago
Great zippy nose right off the bat. Bouquet of Apples, mild lime, soft round cotton notes, a little almond. Med + body, high acidity but balanced with the tangy citrus notes and good mineralogy. No lack of wet stones, almonds, pith. Med + finish. Excited to see how this develops over the next few hrs.... — 5 years ago
Tangerine honey, grapefruit sugar, with peonies, the most perfect, spun cotton candy, chamomile, pear and apple and almond and hazelnut, chutney, and toast with a nano marmalade containing frozen peaches. The exquisite peach blossom honey, chamomile, sultanas, elderberry, gooseberry, quince, dried starfruit and lime. Incredibly layered in folds of dried and concentrated richness. #riesling #deutschewein #wein #beerenauslese #dessertwine #botrytis — 6 years ago
CA style nose. Very dry and shorter on the palate. Tannins and dry ing on the tongue. Cotton mouth. An Italian wine through and through. I do still like it though. — 7 years ago
The birch tree combined with the Egyptian cotton silk buttery undertones gave me volcanic wine orgasm. — 5 years ago
Grape cotton candy, pomegranate, and Jamaican cherry. Not at all tannic. — 5 years ago

We are testing this between two glasses! I prefer the Jamesse by far (although the shape is there on this glass....I am not convinced it is truly Crystal).
As for this Bubbly..I have waited months for its arrivaI and I am so thrilled!! This is a glass of total refinement..tangerine..cotton candy..minerals...red berries..Brioche...just super delicious!! I was able to acquire two bottles of this...will let the next one age several years!!
I am accompanying this with Vivaldi...(my Son's nickname while he was in QC Youth Symphony) — 7 years ago

Outstanding CdB. This has a very focused balance of expressive tart red fruits, with elegant structure and a nice whiff of natural vinification on the nose. Blind I would put it between the natty focus of Guy Breton’s better cru wines with the extracted and floral overtones of high quality Fleurie and Julienas producers. Just lovely to drink. — 5 years ago
Cotton candy, marshmallow, white lily, lemon curd, tangerine, tart strawberry, minerality, slightly white pepper. Elevated acidity, medium intensity, medium finish. — 6 years ago
exceptionally expensive gamay. needs three days in the fridge to calm down. — 6 years ago

Our current go to wine. Hints of cotton candy. — 7 years ago
Raspberry, strawberry fruit roll up. Delicate body. Cotton candy / bubble gum on palette. Suggestion of spice. Don't chill unless you want to miss out on all the aromas. — 8 years ago

Nice, light-bodied red. I've never had a Beaujolais nouveau before and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got notes of raspberry, balsamic, cotton candy, and smoke. I will be partaking in the Beaujolais celebration again next year! — 5 years ago
