Drank 12 /7/23.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
Scents of plum, blackberry, currant, and chocolate. Flavors are similar, with blackberry, plum sauce, and soil. Tannins are still firm, but, well integrated and mix with black fruits on the long finish. This one goes on for over a minute. Drinking well now, but showing no signs of slowing down. This should last another 10 plus years, but is in a nice place now.

Great with a NY strip, but even better with the balsamic glaze that complimented it. This pairs wonderfully with sweet dark fruit flavors. — 5 months ago
Vinoso. Bello. Finissimo e maturo. Fresco e piacevolmente acido — 11 days ago
Intense. Closing a bit “technical” for my taste. Will improve. 95+ — 11 days ago
Smooth. Not tannic. Even better after being opened several days. Blackberry. — 19 days ago
Can’t tell if not in a great spot or maybe some slight heat damage—but leaning to the latter. Tasty, but not as good as it should have been — a month ago
WS Top Values for this year so tried it and also because I love Syrah. Cherry notes are prevalent but not a fruit bomb like some American versions. Smooth finish. Would get again. — 2 months ago
Smoky violets. Savory with a whiff of grapefruit. Whole cluster. Thoughtful. — 5 months ago

Very smooth. I’ve never tried a Bordeaux but this is so smooth! — 20 days ago
rounded fresh fruits, deeply tannic still. aniseed, pepper, like a cured sausage taste. light oak on the nose and on palate. clove. slightly mineralic, granite and graphite, fresh olive, orange rind. — a month ago
Love these wines. 2016 is a beautiful rendition, rich, spicy, and mineral, layered with oak framed vibrant fruit, sweet spices, violets and game, with a seductive, velvety and expansive palate with fine grained tannins. Drinking beautifully now but with a long life ahead. More Vosne than NSG which is just the way I like it. Last sips were the best. — 4 months ago

Dark ruby hue. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, earthy, leather, pepper, plum. Plus body, plus tannins, plus acidity. Balanced with a long finish. Bold and smooth. Eminently drinkable now, but well worth cellaring. 49% Merlot, 39% Cabernet Franc, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon. — 19 days ago
