Gorgeous and opulent nose of dark cherries, mid season cherries, lovely fresh wet earth, penetrating minerality, decaying leaves and more. Stunning nose. 9.5 nose. Not that complex but so pure and precise. Palate is so juicy and ripe with gorgeous cherry fruit and epic cleansing acidity and terrific freshness. Cuts a swath across the palate Nose starts to get a lipstick like intensity after it airs out. Terrific tannins that are ripe and juicy. Really great energy here and length. Just a terrific value. — 10 months ago
Love this 1er Cru and these 2022’s are really coming into their own these last 2 months after being a bit hurly burly. Nose is deep cherry, wild mint, gorgeous florals and minerals but overall an impression of thoroughly ripe fruit. Palate is so juicy and sleek. Huge fruit. So deep and the vivid red cherry fruit soaks into the palate like a crash of waves. The white caps being the ripe and sweet tannins. Such a killer vintage for Laurent. This has the guts for 10-15 years of aging. So juicy. Can’t wait to see how air hits this. Watch this space. — 4 months ago

This was a relatively inexpensive “mystery” wine from Garagiste and it delivered. Nose is lively, with ripe dark cherry, loads of bright crushed stone, a little sous-bois. Deep and balanced in the mouth, a little angular in its youth, but it should settle down nicely over the next few years. A nice little bitter note makes the finish interesting. Delicious. — 4 months ago

Always sultry, always glorious. Stanky late season cherry fruit, hint of barnyard funk that only adds allure. Palate is so full of fruit it’s ridiculous. Juicy and sleek, with unreal purity and freshness. 22 nails that freshness with decadence so well. Very pure and mineral. Wonderful tannins that suggest this is built for the long haul. Long finish. — 3 months ago
