Haven’t had much luck with Oregon Pinots and the streak continues - fruity enough (tart cherry) but kind of syrupy, almost like a beaujolais but more acidic. I can’t really decide but J likes it — 7 months ago
Pretty racy Morgon, intense and airy as we like. Deep ruby-Grenat colour (unfiltered). Nose a little "natural" that can bother the least used to without half an hour of aeration. Superb cherry, strawberry and red fruit notes, English candy, peppery, and light oaky touch in the distance. Gourmet and concentrated mouth, vegetable/red fruit/peppery finish, with a lot of freshness.
Jolie Morgon racé, intense et aérien comme on aime. Robe rubis-Grenat profonde (non filtré). Nez un peu « nature » qui pourra gêner les moins habitués sans une demi heure d’aération. Superbes notes cerises, fraises et fruits rouges, bonbons anglais, poivré, et léger boisé dans le loins. Bouche gourmande et concentrée, finale végétale/fruits rouges/ poivre, avec pas mal de fraîcheur. — 2 years ago
I’ve been anticipating my first #chinon taste. This wine started out tight - right after pouring you get a pronounced meaty nose which opens up to floral and subtle vegetal notes and laid back dark fruit. Plenty of acidity on the palate, reserved red fruit, leather, dried violets finishing with structured tannins. Fantastic wine to have with food, but also delicious by itself. — 4 years ago
Nice with the chicken and pork entrées. We don’t drink much of this varietal, but this one was really nice. Not what we expected in a pub type restaurant, but maybe we should, at least at this one. — 2 years ago
