1998. Nutty flavor of this wine is a great match for the sesame component and lightly smoked fish. — 6 years ago
This was a pretty tasty bottle of Burg. Worked exceptionally well with porchetta--acid cutting through the fat, with beautiful spice and fruit. Needed a little time to breathe. — 7 years ago
This was just gorgeous! Roses, tart cherries, raw mushrooms, and velvety tannins. — 7 years ago
Smoky, slightly reductive, crisp apples, fragrant lemon peel and quite a bit of body. Nice balance between a smooth and creamy texture but still stringent and quite sharp - wonderful Auxey-Duresses Blanc — 8 months ago
Light bodied without being a pushover. Bright fruit, almost a bit green like unripened strawberries with a constant bitter note throughout - like unsweetened cacao nibs — a year ago

Medium lemon yellow. The nose is med+ and rises easily from the glass with fresh notes of mineral stones, lanolin, salinity, and mixed fresh orchard fruits. The palate is med/med+ bodied, with mouthwatering and perfectly integrated acidity. The flavors cascade over the palate with energy and depth into a long, persistent finish. — 9 months ago

Killer Wine Night. Lineup of 17 wines. Tasted blind. Theme was Old World Killer “B” (the letter “B” has to be the first letter in one of the proper nouns in the wine e.g., region, varietal, type, winery name, etc.)
Wine 6. mushroom, strawberry, plum. Lot of tannins. Surprising on the reveal given its 20 years old. — 7 years ago
