A solid budget “Beauj”. This actually tastes like terroir and you can tell the winemaker is trying to not get too involved in the cellar unlike last nights moulin a vent. A lightness and tartness that is quite fun raspberry notes of fruit and a lot of acidity lead to a good drinking wine. Perhaps cherry notes in the middle? The finish isn’t huge but it does linger after swallowing. Actually the nose is quite pretty. Lilac notes? A flower. Highly recommended. The light tartness on the finish might a little much for some people. Maybe air will mellow it. Will buy again.
Edit: after 20 or 30 min of air the tart end integrates and the wine smoothed even more out. This probably deserves a higher rating than 9. Highly recommended — 2 years ago

This 2022 is next level. Have had several Rhône whites recently and this is a standard bearer. So focused. About editing and restraint with subtle hints of this and that without hitting you over the with anything. Dominated by Rousanne which explains its elegance and subtlety. Has a honeyed fresh slightly poached apricot and apple combo with whiffs of baking spices. Great Lacey quartz structure. Beguiling.. perfect with scallops, acorn squash and rice pilaf — 8 months ago

Good concentration. Jam mixed with black fruits and cherry. Sweet and spices. Good match with spicy Chinese food. Chateau Saint Jean Plan de Dieu @, , 241004 — 9 months ago
Bright lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and nutty flinty floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with floral notes and herb spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus and stony mineral spice. Nice!

Lovely wine. Pale straw color. Nose of sage, seashells, salt and green fruit, maybe (maybe) lemon rind. Acidity hits right away at the top of the tongue and quickly transitions around the outside, then lingers deep into the long finish. On the palate there’s green apple and sage, seashells, sea salt, and a touch of sea foam. Green apple skin lingers. Fuller body. I can really go for oysters right now. — 3 years ago
