As big fans of the Hudson vineyard, we needed to go here. As expected, it presented the typical Hudson signature of ripe exotic fruits, volume on the mid-palate and unctuous sweetness. Pure and viscous in terms of presentation. We are enjoying this on wifey’s birthday. — 8 days ago
This is delicious with eight years of age on it! My local grocery wine dept; end cap for $9.99! Nice earthiness, mushrooms, bing cherry, stewed strawberries, black licorice, baking spices, long mineral limestone finish. — a month ago
I’ve generally not been a huge fan of Taittingers N/V, but after a series of Croatian wines, it seems much better. Just goes to the saying, everything’s relative! .
Nicely balanced and fresh with sliced apple, pear, melon, papaya, tangerine, and a brush of vanilla from 10 months in barrel (30% new). There’s a salty streak here that I didn’t expect. Not over the top. Entry level single vineyard from Far Niente. — 18 days ago
Nice opening nose of peach and stone fruit aromatics. Cantaloupe, apricot, bosc pear through the glass. Love the balance of fruit and acidity. The finish is light but pleasing. — a month ago
