Drank over ice, wasn’t mad. Good structure. Juicy mouthfeel. — 5 years ago
Grapes for this wine are from Fred and Dora’s 100 year old vineyard in Mendocino. Color is nearly black, nose is tight, closed only yielding on day 2. Schizoid wine...huge, young, tannic, acidic, alive—but ABV 12.5! Fine on day 1... amazing on day 2 with Medium filets, mushroom risotto, and brocolini. I laugh as I type this.. the mouthfeel is medium at most... not viscous or oily... but vibrant, alive, dancing across the palate. I really like this wine..so utterly California, but not new world at all. — 5 years ago
So great at cellar temp. — 6 years ago
@Delectable this is Zinfandel. After 4 hrs of air, extremely perfumed and floral, crunchy red fruits, spice, funk. This is about the brightest, lightest, most red-fruited zin I’ve ever had ⚡️😍 — 4 years ago
Had at flaming buoy co, nice with fish..taste of pineapple — 6 years ago
Fresh off the FedEx...laser focused, pure pleasure... imagine forgetting to sugar your fresh squeezed lemon/lime juice...then adding 50% of your usual. Pucker up and embrace the vibrant acidity, the lip-smacking medium weight, the 12% ABV, and the long 30 second finish. Not a great wine, but so much pure fun... and it “tastes so frigging good.” Bravo Hardy et al! — 5 years ago

yes, this is a photo of a computer image. tasted as part of a Mourvèdre wine group tasting via zoom, wines portioned into woozies. 2018v. super aromatic, raspberry/cranberry juice, fresh leather, violet. palate texture is silky, light but complex and flavorful, acid medium +, long tannins- just a bit of grip. fantastic — 4 years ago
