2023 vintage. Decent Douro red blend with Touriga Nacional. Plum in color, fruit forward on the nose and palette, cherry and blackberry with good acidity; slight chew but a decent finish. Pairing with spicy chicken, rice, and asparagus. — a month ago

Happy New Year Everyone!!
Cristal for the parents and sparkling apple juice for the twins!
Cristal doesn’t hold a candle to my go to of Bollinger Le Grand Annee, but is always nice on a special occasion! Was very restrained and probably will be better in 5+yrs. — 6 years ago
Black currant on nose and taste with cherries hint of cocoa great length. Very subtle tannins. 1-2 more bottles drink over next 2 years. — 6 years ago
Pale lemon color with stone and tropical fruit aromas and with floral citrus scents. On the palate flavors of peaches and pineapple with citrus zest and hints of chalky notes. Well balanced with lively acidity, long finish ending with mineral, citrus and wet stone nuances. Very nice. Pair this with some sushi. — 6 months ago

I feel like I’m rating this so high but if you’ve got a more impressive $30 American Chardonnay tell me about it 👇🏻.
Seamlessly mineral-driven, unencumbered on the palate by a kiss of oak, and distinguished by a bright purity of acid expressed as citrus oil and apple juice. Greek yogurt, lemon curd, perfectly ripe Granny Smith, tart pineapple, salted butter puff pistachio pastry. — 6 years ago
