A real good CA Chardonnay. Oak, vanilla, pineapple and pear. Well balanced. New World — 5 months ago
Big bold Cabernet. Nice tannins. Earthy. — 9 months ago

20231111 Dinner Park Hyatt Zurich with Alireza, Darioush and Wakano. Ali's invitation, Chateaubriand & Secret Cut.
Wine was absolutely fantastic, deep red, heavy with a perfect full body.

Ripe, rich, round, and concentrated with juicy black fruit, next to cinnamon, nutmeg, cedar, vanilla, dill, and leather notes; also high alcohol and velvety tannins.

Drinking very nicely. Soft red fruit, almost a cola vibe towards the end, very long finish — 6 years ago
2021. Opened while prepping dinner. I figured this big Napa Chardonnay would pair great with the sautéed mushrooms and mushrooms tagliatelle (and it did!), but I was worried about the spicy local ‘Nduja and first farmer’s market asparagus. The wine was great with the pasta. So glad I looked in the discount shopping cart at the grocery store wine shop to see they needed to sell off the last bottle to make some shelf space! — 2 months ago
Dark ruby/purple color. Intense aromas of ripe black fruit, graphite and violets. Flavors of blackberry, black plum, coffee and dark chocolate. Long and plush finish with beautifully integrated tannins and well balanced acidity. Rich and creamy mouth coating texture. Fantastic structure both powerful and elegant at the same time. Incredible!Thank you so much for sharing, Petey P! — 6 months ago
Revel $500cs
Nose: elegantly vegetal.
Palate: very subtle. Cherry. Vegetal. Not typical. Maybe a disappointment for someone wanting a $150 Napa cab.

San antonio bobs steak and chophouse. Darioush was better at that pricepoint. Nuttier and spicier than darioush. — 7 years ago
Inky in color with a short reddish rim.
Strong nose of black fruits with cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, earth, chocolates and peppercorn.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate and fruit forward with blackberries, black currants, plums, cedar, licorice, light vanilla, light earth, herbs, spices, peppercorn and tobacco leaf.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This young Cabernet Franc from Napa Valley is drinking beautifully now, but needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly. Feels like a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel. Smooth and elegant.
Rich and fruit forward. The high alcohol is not too noticeable.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Showing good potential to become a 94 point wine.
Needs 5 hours to open up properly, so be patient.
Wine Enthusiasts 92 points.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.
Grapes were handpicked, and aged in (75% new) French Oak barrels for 22 months.
15.6% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Best cab franc EVER! Just beat out Pride and Darioush. Might have to revisit those competitors. Craving chocolate with this one. Could only enhance the flav a flav 😘. So smooth, less tannins than expected from a franc. Powerful peppery nose. Think of chocolate covered cherries! Thats it! Nailed it!!!! Boom Chaka laka! — 5 years ago
Smooth. Good compliment to the Darioush. Trending up. — 7 years ago
