Less aroma than Nebbiolo but surprisingly high tannins and very healthy dense color. — 5 years ago
Beautiful floral notes - red roses hits you at first. Dried tart cherry, red currant, wild strawberry, fennel, mushroom. Touch of sandalwood once it opens up. Really nice — 5 years ago

So far of three tonight this is my favorite. A bit of a bite after a smooth drink.
Will open up after a while.... decant. — 3 years ago
This is insanely good Nebbiolo. Fresh and refined. Light in color but not in character. It emerges from the glass with sage, bright red fruit, nectarine and rose petals. Persistent and complex. Beautiful now but will age gracefully for years to come. Such an elegant wine. Makes me question why drink barbaresco and Barolo when you can have alto Piemonte. Contact me to get some for yourself. You will not be disappointed — 5 years ago

Superb! Rose (imagine the e with the right accent) has not been my fav, but they are certainly becoming better. This is a very good one, especially for my fellow dry wine lovers. — 7 years ago
Really interesting. Enough heft. A little chewy-ness and acidity. Good with duck and sweetbreads. — 7 years ago
