Warm weather is here, so time to break out the Ribolla Gialla!

Orangish gold color. Honeysuckle, lavender, and perfume/floral tones. Wasn’t what I was expecting from having many past vintages. Wine is more refined and less acidic than I’m used to. That’s not bad, wine just seems mellower than normal but more complex. — an hour ago

Delayed post from 1/12.
Needed to get in touch with my roots. Raided my dad’s cellar when he wasn’t around to scold me for it. Enjoyed with my mom and sister over pasta with pesto. Resolved and in a beautiful spot. Herbaceous but still fresh. Elegant.

Blend of Friulano and Ribolla Gialla. Straw gold color with green highlights. Nice aromas of vanilla ice cream and white flowers with hints of fresh pears. The palate is much more fruit forward featuring pear, lychee, melon and tropical fruits. Touch of citrus and minerals on the long finish. Medium-plus bodied and perfectly balanced.
