Opened at least an hour prior to service. The 2016 Furore Bianco “Fiorduva” pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with beautiful notes of yellow and white flowers, quince, kumquat, and saline minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This wine is simply awesome. I’d love more of this in my life. Drink now. — 5 months ago

Paolo Bea dinner at Semo. All wines were prepared by opening and slow-ox, prior to service. Abbreviated notes due to the setting. The The 2020 Santa Chiara appears a deep orange color with notes of marmalade, apricot, flowers, and varnish (VA). The palate shows low+ tannin and decent acid. Tasty, complex stuff as usual. A lovely pairing with gougère of prosciutto, green olive and honey. Drink now through 2030-ish. Bottle No. 2814/5940 — 4 months ago
I really enjoyed this wine. It was the bottle that introduced me to wine drinking. A nice beginner one for me at least. — 10 months ago

My first carricante. Floral citrus nose, pale yellow, complex minerality with a perfect sour/sweet finish. Thanks, Costco. This is a top-drawer white. — 5 months ago

Bright, effervescent red. Starts off kind of tasting like wet socks and then smooths and rounds out to dried apricot, green apple, and cinnamon, with a tart finish. Definitely something to worth chillingl! — a year ago
Crisp, great acidity, and nice citrus flavors. Drink this with fresh seafood & you will be greatly rewarded. — 3 years ago
aroma opens up easily, good amount of fruit followed by crisp acidity. Lingering, mineral and saline finish on the end. Such an yummu juice. — 5 years ago

Very nice. This wine is all mineral. Light citrus fruits, but what I notice is that volcanic soil. Mild reductive notes. High acid. Good length. — 3 months ago
