As with most Rutherford,Napa wines, this is as smooth as silk with a balanced flavor. Perfect for any occasion. — 7 months ago

"Coeur de Roy" Tres Vieilles Vignes Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 2000

Still showing a lot of tannic and acidic structure, but enough fruit to keep it in check once it had a few hours of air, youthful still, and brawny. — a year ago

Coeur de Roches Meursault Chardonnay 2019

2019 vintage. Obvs super youthful and that translates here to a large, super fresh lime component. Better than good mineral presence. The crisper side of Meursault. — 3 years ago

Les Coeur des Dames Pommard Charmots 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2008

Slow oxed for two hours the wine both aromaticslly and on the mouth is somewhat monochromatic. Nevertheless it combines good balance and elegance and went well with dinner — 4 years ago

Estate Bottled Coeur de Vigne Rutherford Red Blend 2015

Ming L
9.3

A charming left bank blend with a high percentage of CF for 15’. Blueberry, cassis, espresso, dried herbs, and lavender. Hint of crushed rocks too. Medium to full body. A harmonious palate with round gentle acidity, lush texture, and grainy yet polished firm elegant tannins. Lingering lightly candied finish.
Finesse and classy, yet so approachable.

Domaine Rostaing-Tayard

Le Coeur des Hommes Côteaux du Lyonnais Gamay

This happens to be outstanding. Fantastic Gamay from a unique appellation. Tastes more like a perfectly aged Burgh. At 25$ a ridiculous value. Cherry, touch blackberry, hint black tea, soft tannins and mouth feel. If this is still available - I will go back and buy more (rare for me). San Diego Wine Company. — 7 months ago

Coeur d'Argile Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2006

Fully mature with lots of rich, sappy dark fruits with good spice. Like my prior notes not overly complex but enjoyable now. — 5 years ago

I've heard about this one, but never been able to find in walk-around retail settings.

I have a funny feeling that it’s a “club” wine only. But I may be wrong.

7 years old and you wouldn’t know it without owning the bottle, reading the label and then, carefully calculating the math 🙃 Nothing short of remarkable. — 5 years ago
