Sweet ripe red fruit in the nose, cloudy light ruby color, easy to drink, — 7 years ago
Unfiltered Chilean Chardonnay. From the Atacama, near the Peruvian border. Cloudy with big flavours including apple, lemon and appricot. High minerality. Had it paired at dinner in Santiago. I would have loved another glass. — 8 years ago

This is a great export from New Zealand congrats to the cloudy bay team this is magical something for my wine cabinet.
Thanks a million — 10 years ago
2012 surprisingly different from 2013 in acidity, color. Liked cloudy 2012 better — 11 years ago
Green apple, pear, buttered toast. On the palate, unripe apple, lemon and pepper. A little too much oak. — 11 years ago
If you like natural barn yardy flavors this is a wine for you. Cloudy. — 6 years ago
Cloudy white, great balance of acid and sweet with a little funk. — 7 years ago
A bit sweet, but really smooth. — 7 years ago
“It’s actually pretty good” was I think the descriptor in the menu and it was spot on. None of the usual boring prosecco flavours. It was the most dry prosecco I’ve had with chalky minerality, some apples and excellent finish. Slightly cloudy. Brilliant stuff at brilliant corners. — 8 years ago
Surprised to find out this was a Prosecco. Cloudy, fruity goodness. Drink like it’s cider. — 8 years ago
Cloudy light yellow / straw. Bruised apple. Yeasty. Delicious. My favorite chenin of the night — 9 years ago
A little sour, nuttiness. Low alch, and cloudy yellow color. Beautiful and rare grape for California. — 10 years ago
Sweet and and rich as a good dessert wine should be! — 11 years ago
This is the 2013 Sluice Box El Dorado southern Rhone white varietal blend with 50% skin fermented. Beautiful copper-orange-gold color and slightly cloudy. Nose has sweet fruit, melon, a bit of citrus zest, and something floral in the way of a tropical garden after rain instead of perfumy roses. Palate shows a bit of exuberantly youthful grapiness, white stone fruit, white pepper, and freshness. This wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very pleasantly shows plenty of fine tannins. Really beautiful wine. — 12 years ago
Big NorCal storm rolling in Friday night....calls for a nice bottle of wine!
Double decant(cloudy sediment). A mind-blowing deep dark purple. On the nose: black fruit, big crushed rocks, floral, very minerally, vanilla. Taste: black cherry, tar, mint, ending with raspberry coffee, tannins have sweetened but still there for the longer haul...nice structure, no hurry on my other 4 bottles. — 6 years ago
pale yellow and slightly cloudy appearance. certainly not a fruity nose but maybe some citrus. awakening acidity. palette is bitter citrus, grapefruit, meyer lemon on the back. maybe some tropical fruitiness if you listen carefully. toasted nuttiness and an oxidized sherry-likeness.
Bottle 1 of 12
Had it with pork tenderloin with shallot mustard sauce, fairy tale eggplant and zucchini with a ricotta/mozzarella cheese sauce & fresh basil and mint — 7 years ago
A beautiful cloudy straw color with a slight effervescent. Good acidity. Great sourness that hits in the center of the tongue. — 8 years ago
Tasted blind. Brownish red and cloudy. Opaque. Nose of cola, earth, cherry and Heath bar. Ok in the mouth but unfulfilling. Short finish. Tannins completely resolved. Liked it at first but with more air this collapses to notes of just soy sauce and port. Interesting to try. — 8 years ago
Great cloudy farm style sparkling wine. It tastes a little like a dry cider but only in passing and it's great with a funky cheese. — 9 years ago
Super cloudy. Some fun stuff going on here though. #bordeaux #moutonrothschild — 11 years ago
Fun fact - So this wine is from the winemaker of Cloudy Bay before it got taken over by LVMH. Another fun fact - it's one of the best whites I've had! — 13 years ago

Pale to mid crimson and a little cloudy - a characteristic one used to see occasionally in Bass Phillip as they are bottled unfiltered which adds to the flavour intensity. A beautiful perfume of whole bunch notes, sous bois and a touch of toffee. Amazing intensity for Bass Phillip’s 5th ranked Pinot Noir cuvée. Sweet and savoury fruits. Delivers more fruit on the palate than one would expect from the nose. For short term drinking but still delivers the Bass Phillip stamp of quality. — 6 years ago
