Complex wine. Earth, leather, med tannins and intesnse finish. Every 30 mins was a chapter and was fun to see it open up. — 3 months ago
My last bottle of this deliciously weird Napa blend. Nose has an olivey herbal note to accompany ripe cassis, and in that regard reminds me of some Napa Cabs from the 1970s when that was a (nice) thing. Also some warm gravel notes and a touch of subtle wood. Soft and mouthfilling, it’s got equal part dark fruit and savory notes. Great balance. Long finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and Grenache, I believe. — a year ago
Very very nice!
Not too sweet but deep flavour as if it had been left over for a day or 2! — 3 years ago
Pop and pour. Unarguably the best 21 dollar btl of wine I have ever bought. On the nose: black tea, cranberry, leather and spice. On the palate:.black tea, leather, soft strawberry, solid acidity, good density, slate and grapefruit on the softly tannic finish. This is in a fantastic place right now. Glad I still have a few more btls.
If you drank this a decade ago and were underwhelmed, you were just impatient. Lovely. — 7 months ago
