No. 2 in the Vosne Romanee Grand Cru bracket. Tasted blind. My brief note (sensory overload has set in again!): A perfumed woody smokiness - sweet and gorgeous with a beautiful texture and mouthfeel. “ With Romanee Conti to its eastern boundary it is similar but slightly different. Les Richebourgs to its northern boundary. La Romanee is a Monopole owned by the Liger-Belair family and is the smallest appellation in France at. 0.8452 hectares producing only 250 to 350 cases each vintage. A wonderful wine with at least 2 decades of cellaring before it reaches its peak. — 6 years ago
Amazing night with Louis Michel tasting his release of the 18 vintage — 9 months ago
2021 vintage. Last tasted 07.23.24 (9.2). This bottle (like that one, tasted at a fave resto) chilled down a bit and traced over 1.25 hours. That bottle $120 then...now...same bottle $140 off the list. This visit a tad tighter and closer to the vest. Still very nice. 01.21.25. — 10 months ago

pure, but matured fruits. There is storky nuance. — 4 years ago
Loved the 2010. Deep flavors. — 4 years ago
Really enjoyed the blend. Smooth yet complex. Nice mineral and earthy palate — 5 years ago
Huge dark fruit and still primary at this time. The oak is hardly noticeable given its age and the tannins are soft. This can age based on the amount of fruit, I just wonder how it will hold up given how soft the tannins are. Definitely drinkable now. — 9 months ago

Father’s Day at Jane for mom bd. Jordon knows and likes this wine. More like a Burg in its complexity and balance and light footed profile. Yum. — 4 years ago
Classic right bank notes, with dark berries and tobacco, mature and ready to drink. Classic old Bordeaux — 5 years ago

Great lineup & dinner with Louis Michel. He showcased his amazing wines in what he termed were difficult vintages. — 9 months ago
