Ripe cherry, dusty tannins, mushroom, and sandalwood. Bright acid, drinking well — 6 months ago
Showed interesting Rhône type notes and spice at the start, but did not last in the glass. — 7 months ago
candied red cherry, hint of brett? heavy savory notes. needs to open. I’ll try and come back to notes — 2 years ago

Still quite young tasting especially relative to the 96 corton renardes from gaunoux. Would love to revisit in 5-10 years and see what this grows into. — 5 years ago

Very subtle. Really enjoyed this! — 4 years ago
Exceptional concentration. Cherry, blackberry - evolving to plum with air. Forest floor. Herbaceous. Absolutely lovely texture: so elegant. Well-integrated tannins, of course. Wish I had another bottle. — 5 years ago
Deeper colour ruby still with garnet rim . Quite floral nose , more fresh fruits , mix of red and dark . On the palate more dense , slightly riper but still fresh , darker fruit , quite wild and detailed . Well balanced acidity , quite gritty tannin , fills out well on the palate . Good length , drinking well now but will age longer over the next 8-10 years . — 6 months ago
2023/10 with pan-roasted wagyu, etc. in a great place - open on the nose, with woodsy, incense-like tertiary aromas blending with red berries and flowers. On the palate, good acidity and subtle tannin provide structure, with the fruit freshening and fleshing out with air. — 7 months ago
Drinking the tail end of another dinner here. Losing a bit of vigour after two days opened, but still showing heaps of textural richness and chewy energetic fruit. Plums, cranberries, spice, and earthy nuances. Impressively long finish. Wow! Sadly, the bouquet was the let down, whereby the expectedly floral notes have disappeared at this stage and a light musk has started developing. Nevertheless, I can’t discount that this was an excellent aperitif. — 2 years ago
Les Chantreries - Chateau de Pommard -2001 : magnum . Liquoreux , charpenté, gros caractère, un peu moins gouleyant, touche d’acidité légère. Un bonheur. Joyeux noel. — 3 years ago
