At its prime. I would not keep this any longer. Touch oxidation out of the gate. Plenty of tannins left but fruit on the downside. Quite dusty, orange zest mostly. Hint plums. Crushed marble. Hint celery. Very tart cranberries. I was quite excited about the other bottle i popped this year. This one is not as good. — 4 months ago

@Pinotman /// Andreas enderle are an absolute favorite of mine! had a 2016 buntsandstein not long ago that blew me away. the entry level pinot is always excellent as well.
I have back vintages to 2009. They started in 2008. 2016 is an especially good vintage. I will see if i have enough time to visit the tiny winery in May and do a barrel tasting. The place is hard to find - even for someone who comes from this area. More recently their whites which tend to be funky are catching up.

This is AWESOME. Juicy cherry and strawberry, supported by good earth, minerality, spice, and a lingering finish. Good structure for a Pinot. Great burgundy. — 12 days ago
