Inexpensive but has very good flavour and worth trying. — 4 years ago
It was a special night. 26 year old wine, that incredibly felt like it was just bottled. Tannins still present. Rich black fruit, with graphite and pencil shavings. As special as it was to enjoy this bottle with friends, it’s hard to reconcile the value of the wine. We had a Cos De Estournel with this and it showed just as well at a fraction of the cost. — 5 years ago
Fantàstica tinta fina, amb el seu punt just de fusta. Vi amb cos, ample en boca i llarg regust. Encara podia haver guardat uns anyets l’ampolla 😅. — 6 years ago
Opens beautifully. At Lake Winnepocket. First had it at Suzanne & Bob’s — 7 years ago

Tried this again, about a year later. Time proved well. The vines of Lilian-Ladouys are found a stone's throw from the Graves of Cos d'Estournel and the Chateau Lafite-Rothschild. Purple, with inky tones. Aromas of black and blue fruit, smoky notes and soft spice. Palate displays black and blue fruits with toasty oak flavors, full body with round tannins. Finish ends with earthy mineral tones. — 9 years ago
Good. Smooth, black cherry. Bought at Mitsukoshi for ¥5,000. — 5 years ago
100% syrah
Nose is beautiful. Raspberries blackberries melded at the dna level. Integrated. Just perfume. Flower of a spice. Very jumpy - launches itself at the nostrils. Just fills them.
Palate is perfect. Raspberries. Blackberries. Perfect texture spice. Fucking insane. A hint less dense than Podere forte but more perfumed. Like mountain water crazily infused with spiced raspberries. A hint of the most gorgeous licorice. Savory. Salivatory.
A very elegant syrah. Even more so than Cote rotie in a Sense. The crappy soils tone down the fruit expression so it’s much more refined and naked.
Silky texture. — 6 years ago
Nero is Martha’s grape. She spent her training at Cos and became one of the only, if the only, winemaker spotlighting the grape this side of the ocean.
It’s raw, seriously structured, and intensely tart. Mountain forest berries and a camp fire. Pine, mint, menthol, and cedar - Mezcal smoke circling above. Vibrant acid and tannin and ripe for food. Very good. — 6 years ago

Bigger than I usually go for but 😍 — 8 years ago
100% Gamay Pet Nat. Light fuchsia color. Aromas of red berry fruit, rose petals and touches of vanilla and pleasant funk. Flavors of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry and pomegranate fruit with a slight mineral note. Medium-plus finish and crisp acidity. Vibrant bubbles along with a creamy mousse and texture. Only 10.5% alcohol. Very refreshing! Perfect on a hot summer day. — 10 months ago
One of the most contemporary Tempranillos out there.
Big, bold cherries on the nose and palate. Tannic and broad-shouldered. Not in the zone at this point. Give in another 5 years and this will sing. Wifey gave the expression that somebody stole the jam from her donut cos of the tobacco overload! — 4 years ago
Served at red wine temperature. Baked apple was the dominant aroma upon opening but transforms into a sour ale nose with air. A creamy palate of white peach , apricot and a strong saline note. A wonderful accompaniment to all my dinner courses; Parisian ham , beef tartare, and fennel sausage. A unique wine that could divide the table. — 7 years ago

Whoa ... very different. Big bodied and spicy. Almost bubbly. Great with duck at Barolo's on Denver. — 9 years ago
