Soft, creamy, not overly acidic but nicely balanced this is a great value! Nose of green citrus rind, maybe some orange or kalamunsi, sea air and slight hints of fresh cut grass on a pale yellow/green color. Light to medium bodied, with tiny bubbles, and slightly creamy palate that shines mostly of Chenin, with a dry palate but not stark, with notes of cooked leeks with butter, sumo orange and wet stone like minerality. — 6 months ago

From goblet-trained old-vine Clairette in Lirac (vineyard was “planted before 1870) on a hill overlooking the Rhône on the west side of the river, this lovely white wine shows honey and minerals, also some very nice acidity to balance, Clairette (which I adore) rarely shows the more viscous textural notes I get from southern Rhône Blancs that are mostly Roussanne and/or Marsanne (the latter mostly found in the northern Rhône), very good finish, lovely wine!!

Cool simple bottle and label. A screw-top with class. Color is golden straw. Aromas of lemons and honey. Hint of freshly scrubbed flagstone patios. Flavors are lemon water, honeydew melon and jasmine tea. This is like all the good things in non-buttery Chardonnay mixed with the minerality and zing of Sauv Blanc. It’s fuller, denser and more elegant than most CA Chenin Blanc I’ve had. It’s also a white that seems to age nicely. If I could find it somewhere around here, it would join the short list for go to whites. — a day ago
