A 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and (Pinot) Meunier; mostly sourced from the 2011 vintage (40%) with the balance from 2010 and 2009.
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The C. de Pinots NV pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe apple, toasted brioche, split almonds and lemon bar and spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. The DNA is there and showing a slightly more oxidative style. Drink now. Disgorged July 2016. — 3 months ago
Deff old word style… 2018, drinking very well. Med plus body good acidity, dark fruit and earth notes abound. — 6 months ago
Black cherry & blackberry with dark fruit, soft tannins and dark cherries in the palate. Paired well with a smoked cheese and spicy ham. — 7 months ago
Citrus, white flowers, lemon zest and a tiny petroly note on the nose. Sharp acid drive and lemony notes all around the palate. It's dry, yes, but there is almost a sweet note in mid palate. The finish is fresh, tangy and zesty and keeps you salivating. It's not great but it does the trick quite well. — 3 years ago

Close to the edge of life on this 2018 but still delivers black tea and a bit of spice. Some bright cherry mid palate with wet stone and dusty earth. Still has a nice finish. Very drinkable and just what you'd expect from an aged Santa Lucia Pinot. — a month ago
Bright Ruby red color with aromas of red berry fruits, sweet spice, tea and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with spice, licorice and floral notes. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral spice and slight earthy mineral character. Good value! — 2 months ago

This is the high end yellow Chartreuse. Slightly sweeter than the high end green Chartreuse (9.8) and with different complexities. Still phenomenal and worth tasting/seeking out. Will likely last us around 3.5-4 months. 1 liter sized bottle. Time to start shopping for another bottle. 6.12.26. — a month ago
