The 2022 is just so epic. Gorgeous and provocative nose of ripe cherries, damson berries and a you can almost smell the treacly texture. Raspberry and cherry flower as well. Just amazing fruit captured on the nose. Truly wow. Palate is gorgeous, textured and deep with terrific acidity and freshness and a dramatic opulence to it as well. Just stunning and so juicy. This is just as perfect for what it is as one can get. As it airs the structure becomes more substantial and my god the tiny berry fruit intensity is remarkable. Gorgeous wine. The finish now is stunning mineral and fleshy red cherries. Almost 9.6. Picks up insane finesse now with air. What a wine! — 7 months ago

Bright garnet color. Aromas of dark cherry, mushroom, tomato skin with a touch of barnyard funk. Pallet is full of ripe red fruit (cherry, cranberry , raspberry & plum) with notes of mushrooms, baking spices and minerals. A bit of smoke on the finish. Silky tannins. Wow! So glad I bought a bottle of this. Funky on opening. After 2 hours it is so good. Violets, roses, cherry, baking spice is in background, there’s an earth/herbal component I cannot pinpoint. It is so drinkable but evolves with almost every sip. Need more Pinots like this in my life. — 4 months ago

These E&M wines are just stupido! What do i mean by this? Popped opened. Joined 2 bottles into one because i was not convinced/unhappy. Got close to the sink. Then decided leave in the fridge for 2 weeks. And Voilà now quite awesome. Strawberries, tart, rhubarb, ….bark, more red than Rosé. Dark, complex, orange zest, dark cherry. Would age this 2-3 years. Revisit and then decide on even more cellar time. — 6 months ago

Very dense and big! Could go for another 10-15 years. I like Ziereisen wines and met him. Yet i prefer more elegant renditions. Quite dark. Cherry, blackberry, lime, cherry. Super complex. Plenty of acids. If you have this in your cellar you are in for a treat. Ziereisen is a little bit full of himself rightfully so but still - i prefer the humble. — 8 months ago

Super juicy. Pinot Grigio. Clean and crisp not our Kombucha type - skin contact! Tannic and quite tart but man is this great stuff. Small pears the ones which used to grow on old forgotten trees. In a great spot. Big explosive and feral nose. Almost sinewy. Floral, tart cherries, a wildness but also so expressive: Perfumed. Huge mineral background. But the palate is just god tier. So much sweet tangy fruit backed up by just incredible energy. Gets to every nook and cranny. So juicy. Unreal finish. So elegant in the midpalate. Unreal explosiveness and that tart sweetness is crazy and uniquely German. This is insane. — 5 months ago

Was looking for a Pinot with a bit more structure and opened up this - man, this has evolved beautifully over the last 2y! Showing such finesse & elegance right now, the tannins so fine & smooth and the fruit shining. This is really a beauty to open up now.
Red berries with undergrowth, some tree bark, a hint of exotic spice & orange zest, maybe a whiff of dark cherry. So fresh, so juicy, so enticing!!
On the palate this sings! Impeccably balanced, with great depth & elegance.
Wow. This is quite profound and a stunner!
