Showing incredibly well. Very left Bank Bordeaux at the moment. The label is simply amazing — 7 years ago

Crisp apple flavor on the finish. Yum! — 8 years ago
I consider this a more full bodied wine. Typically a Cab drinker but this Merlot was quite good. Strong plum and cranberry flavors with a bit of a peppery finish. Alcohol content seems high with half glass consumed! Surprised that I am enjoying this one as much as I am. — 8 years ago
so approachable. relatively light bodied and a little bit of spice hits right at the middle of the palate. my co-op was demoing this wine a few weeks ago and I've bought tgree — 8 years ago
Baked apples, wax, lingering salinity and nuttiness. Medium acidity. Quite pleasurable and complex. Perhaps more acidity would make it brighter. Overall, a great non-oxidized Jura. — 9 years ago

Don't really get the Burgundy/Pinot Noir comparisons people are making with Nerello. For me it's a lot for Nebbiolo-like, albeit more approachable. Sour cherries, rose petal, dried herb. A bit on the simple side, but an interesting wine. — 7 years ago
Vibrant lemon, energized acidity, and a quintessential warm Jura nuttiness on the back end (which I don't mind sounding as sexual as it does). Medium bodied and worked well through five of our six courses, including amberjack, gem salad, butternut squash, rigatoni and scallops. I wish I could have written about this while drinking it but the fam has strict PUT UR GOD DAMN PHONE AWAY ROSS! rules (which I agree with). — 8 years ago
I like big buts but i can not lie... but this is way too big. 17% alc !! — 8 years ago
The pale golden straw color is appealing, while the nose certainly isn’t scaring anyone away. Clean earth notes define the apple, papaya and lime aromas beautifully. The palate shows off-dry pear, apple and Meyer lemon flavors on a bed of acidity. Finishing long, it’s the earth and citrus that stays around after the sip. The wine’s body makes it a lot more versatile that just “salads and sipping.” Winemaker Markus Niggli recommends you pair it with anything off the grill. — 8 years ago

Blanc de noirs da pinot nero e uve autoctone 2012- sboccatura 4/2015 — 9 years ago
So drinkable right now. My colleague made a good point saying that it smells like scotch on the nose...nothing wrong with that. Will get better with age. Drinking great now, tannins are perfect. 2010! best vintage ever for Barolo...get some — 9 years ago

This is getting more complex with age. Dark fruits, smokiness, some cloves. Really nice. — 8 years ago
