fun, reductive, big acids. — 5 years ago
Super impressive Aligote. Ramonet does it right. Powerful and round with an underlying minerality. The wine is a bit floral and a touch herbaceous. Awesome value wine.

Killer late harvest Aligote, delicious RS. — 8 years ago
Very dry, orange peel, great example of Aligote at its most complex. — 3 years ago
Comes off kinda sweet...slighty butter n honey. Some lemon. — 7 years ago
Not the best for the price, but a good wine regardless. Quite shy on the nose, showing mostly malo and oak characters - reckon there's probably more new oak this year. Some floral features, palate delivers expectedly riper fruit characters and a very mineral finish. Balanced, but pricey for what it is. Go for the 15' Aligote instead! 😉 — 8 years ago
This is really fresh, really good. Bold nose of apricot, amber and ripe yellow fruits waft forth with a gentle spice interwoven throughout. Medium body with nice legs, the palate is acidic and mineral forward, with bright lemon, cumquat and slightly underripe orange. Dry, mineral driven finish, all around this is a very special, golden wine. — 4 years ago
Lafarge Aligote — 5 years ago
For all intents and purposes, this may just be the ceiling of greatness for Aligote. With a bit of age, there is no loss of freshness or energy, there is depth of aroma and flavor and plenty of oh so fine reduction and the finish goes on. What a beautiful wine tonight. — 7 years ago
Very nice white burg, especially for the price. Good example of the aligote grape's potential when done right. Mouth filling with waves of flavor, quite precise, excellent acid and minerality. — 8 years ago
