Oh heck. I wish I had more. I don't know Aussie wine but don't think that would make a big diff in how to interpret this oner. It is an individual and a nice one at that.

Spicy Aromas with Cherry Sappiness and Earthy notes with a little savoury funk. Great intensity and length. Very well made in a brilliant terroir for this variety - on this occasion in the Adelaide Hills. As Richard Hemming MW an Englishman said “this is a Burgundy Slayer”! Enjoyed this chilled. Unfiltered and cloudy in the glass. It kinda makes me think of Asian fruits or smoothies and durian but in a good way. Nice acidity and a lime juice-like citrus character. 2014 - Wonderfully perfumed nose of wild bramble fruit, pure blackcurrant, rhubarb crumble, plum and stoney soil, picking up some wood spice with a bit of air. Less expressive on the palate, honest, sturdy with a zesty red and blue fruit acidity, firm tannin that backs up the black cherry skin and tart black fruited finish.
