Lots of stems on the nose, white peppers, smoky, surinam-cherry, brine. Effortless. — 9 years ago
Very light, floral, fragrant. Lovely with delicate white fish — 9 years ago
Oh heck. I wish I had more. I don't know Aussie wine but don't think that would make a big diff in how to interpret this oner. It is an individual and a nice one at that.
It is smooth and merlot Berry then POW there are your Gewurtztraminer spices and whoa. Despite my hatred of the color of yellow I can dig it. Yowza. — 10 years ago
Medium bodied, tiny touch on the sweeter side but still dry. It is a rosé. — 11 years ago
Beautiful wine - highly recommended!! — 11 years ago
Like it very much. — 12 years ago
A strong funky, spiced meat note on the nose. Underlying fruit notes. Juicy, medium weight on the palate; spicy. An interesting syrah. — 8 years ago

A lot of boxes ticked with a Thai chicken green curry tonight. Spot on! — 8 years ago
Spicy Aromas with Cherry Sappiness and Earthy notes with a little savoury funk. Great intensity and length. Very well made in a brilliant terroir for this variety - on this occasion in the Adelaide Hills. As Richard Hemming MW an Englishman said “this is a Burgundy Slayer”! Tasted 57 weeks later with consistent notes - a Pinot more on the fuller side. Very easy to drink. — 9 years ago
Little Creek vineyard. Fuller and less bright, acidic style than the Monomeith vineyard. — 10 years ago
Enjoyed this chilled. Unfiltered and cloudy in the glass. It kinda makes me think of Asian fruits or smoothies and durian but in a good way. Nice acidity and a lime juice-like citrus character. Sort of Grapefruity. I can't quite wrap my head around this wine at the moment but I rather enjoy it! — 10 years ago
Great Adel hills red — 11 years ago
2014 - Wonderfully perfumed nose of wild bramble fruit, pure blackcurrant, rhubarb crumble, plum and stoney soil, picking up some wood spice with a bit of air. Less expressive on the palate, honest, sturdy with a zesty red and blue fruit acidity, firm tannin that backs up the black cherry skin and tart black fruited finish. (That nose though, WOOF!) — 11 years ago

This is fantastic, pure fresh natty wine. Like susucaru made of pinot. Glorious and without SO2 of course, so just drink it, not a long term ager, and so good now. Just got this in the mail today and Pobega'd it. — 8 years ago
