Much improved from the prior bottle of this vintage. There is significant fine sediment and taking more care in separating in the decant made for a world of difference. Decanted and enjoyed over 4+ hours. Was as vibrant and heady at the end as it was after 45 minutes. Deep structure and well balanced. Fruit was rippling. Just fantastic. — 11 days ago

On the nose: Captivating savory notes of stewed dark fruit, mushroom, worn leather, charcoal, stewed meat, and touch of cinnamon. Taste: powerful, bold, structured wine with dark plum, dark chocolate, green bell pepper, earth, and a dusty, baking spice-cedar long finish with maybe a touch of heat and just slightly grippy tannins YUM! On the nose: Intoxicating notes of brambly blackberry, potting soil, mint, milk chocolate, herbaceous, peppered jerky.
