Zing zip yum — 8 years ago
Tasted this several times the past year or so. Always impresses, carries considerable freshness and has great bouquet to counter the lively zip. — 9 years ago
Nice 2004, that was very pleasant to zip on but also worked well with a nice fillet steak on the bbq and lime inspired fresh summer salad... Still hang nicely in the back of your mouth..

Remarkabke balance and extraordinary zip. Anjou pear, white nectarines and fresh lychee nut. — 9 years ago
Very nice. I'd guess most people love this wine, or don't care for it - with no middle ground. It's got its own personality. This wasn't in our top 4 for rosé, but would probably fifth. Wonderful bouquet, and quite a bit of zip. Would be awesome with trout or a similar fish. We had chicken. — 10 years ago
Slope Cellars: "A blend of three vintages, but the bulk of it is 1981. 40% abv. A beautiful colour, rich dark, gold. Viscous in the glass. Lovely perfumed aromas. Spicy prunes on the nose. Very elegant, soft, rich fruit. Gorgeous. Soft, brown sugar. Perfectly ready to drink. Tons of structure and zip and a very long finish. Orange peel note on the finish. Perfect. Orange butter on the nose, like as in crepes. Really aromatic! Cinnamon note on the nose. Great paired with Plumb Tart Tatin." — 11 years ago
Surprising minerality and zip! — 7 years ago
Deliciously refreshing and alluring aromatics. Lime zest, yellow plum, asian pear, peach, honeysuckle, green almonds, wet rocks, beeswax. Subtle pear, almond, minerals and wax on the plate, nice astringency and zip. 47 GBL 39 VO 14 RO — 7 years ago

Lime, grass, lychee, clean and lots of zip. Paired well with roasted asparagus. — 9 years ago
Very nice, little restrained on the fruit. But will definitely revisit. Love the acid zip on this one — 10 years ago
Worth putting down. More concentration than zip. Intense pear action with a great dancing minerality. Layers of mandarin and lemony cream. Great creamy mouthfeel. If you close your eyes, you can smell the eucalyptus trees from the property. — 10 years ago
A spicy, woody one with zip to handle spicy food. Love it. — 11 years ago
