So clean and balanced. Not a complex wine, but just a perfect balance of only a mild sweetness followed by minerality and mild acidity. A Golden Mean in all its flavors. White fruit flavors. A paradigm of Mosel Riesling. Extraordinary QPR. — 3 years ago

Amazing and unique grape. Soft taste but bold flavor. Will buy again — 3 years ago
A damn delight, somewhere between fascinating acidity plus fruit, and just gulp-ability. Smells of strawberries, wet stones and vanilla. On the palate the viniferous energy races, but the plush stewed strawberries slow it down. If you want to pound this, you do you, but also savor it, if you can help yourself. — 4 years ago
Good for desert wine not for meal — 4 years ago
Excellent. Much tamer than some of the Gruners in the area. Highly recommend. — 4 years ago
Phenomenal, sweet to be paired with spicy, possibly Asian cuisine — 5 years ago

This wine won the NYS Rose of 2021! It is so smooth and lush! It is mostly Cab Franc! — 3 years ago
Good, lots of fruit, nice and dry, crisp. Not quite as good as some other Finger Lakes Riesling, but far better than what can be found in the local stores — 4 years ago
Youthful and aromatic with that lychee hitting right off the nose. Some stone fruit but mostly dry. RS 0.7 — 5 years ago

@Delectable Wine This is the Nik Weis Gefen Hashalom Ockfener Saar Riesling. This is a special Kosher bottling of a beautiful Kabinett Riesling, fresh and juicy with tropical fruit/tart pineapple and mineral on the back. — 6 years ago

At tasting in Eugenia’s Garden Ukrainian Benefit flight (!). The reason for the flight (as we just bought one from Weis). Very intriguing complex dark red fried nose and lively texture with earthiness lacing the fruit and good finish. — 3 years ago
