A damn delight, somewhere between fascinating acidity plus fruit, and just gulp-ability. Smells of strawberries, wet stones and vanilla. On the palate the viniferous energy races, but the plush stewed strawberries slow it down. If you want to pound this, you do you, but also savor it, if you can help yourself. — 2 years ago

This is actually the Barrel Reserve. My first real exposure to higher end cab franc from the Finger Lakes region, and it is really impressive. In fact, we enjoyed every wine we tried at Weis. Highly recommend a visit there! — 3 years ago

Riesling and Cayuga white blend - a wine with a split/changing personality, in an interesting way. Aromas of white flowers, tea, candle/soap. Medium body. Flavors: a little bit sweet then pivots dry, tart green apple, white pepper. Medium finish. — 3 years ago
