Fine drinking 2019 Mandurian primitivo. Full bodied, robust fruit, low tanin, nice length. Thoroughly enjoyable! — a month ago
The 2021 Avoyelles is a bruiser, its mid-weight structure notwithstanding. Strong, savory and floral notes open first. There's plenty of weight and intensity, but it appears gradually. All the elements are so well balanced in this young, potent Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc blend. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2023)

Super delicious and sophisticated red, tastes like a much more expensive one. — 3 months ago
Light and easy drinking, nice fruity flavors — 9 months ago
Nose: sweet roses and cherries. Intense and beautiful. So floral
Palate: sweet cherries. A bit right but so lovely and balanced. Juicy. Still young. Has a decade to go at least.
Needs an hour. Then magnificent. The 20% vespolina just takes this over the top.
Almost a 9.6. A perfect boca.

Salty apricot, lemon, blood orange, apricot cream. No Malo. — 3 months ago
The northern Italian red version of a Golden Retriever-the 30% Barbera, I suspect, adds a sunny brightness to the more soulful, young Nebbiolo. Some Negrette too. Vibrant almost cadmium red color. Fresh rose petals offset by that lipstick red fruit. My house red in previous years. — 7 months ago
