Never disappointed by this brand. Aromatic and not too fruitful with earthy undertones. Tastes closer to a Malbec. Smooth aftertaste. — 16 days ago
Good, strong, plummy and blackberry fruits. Oaky. Good for cured meats, funky cheese, osso bucco — a month ago
That Syrah really comes into the nose, playing that usual barnyard funk.
First wave is lighter bodied yet completely flavorful with pomegranate (red fruit only) lemon basil, raspberry, unripe Moro oranges.
2nd wave is the lovely lingering finish of jolly rancher red, and a mouth filling satisfaction.
I love this producer. Amazing things going on here. — 21 days ago

A all time favorite Malbec blend. Powerful earthy smell with complex layers of aroma. Good dryness and average tannin. Very good aftertaste, recommend for pairing with food. — a month ago

The 2019 Malbec Estate Selection from Uco Valley offers precise and attractive notes of fresh, sour cherry, plum and hints of lavender, violet and thyme. On the palate, it is a mix of flavors framed by fine, reactive tannins. Finishes juicy, with well-integrated freshness and fruity flavors. $25.00 (Joaquín Hidalgo, Vinous, October 2021) — 7 days ago
