Tastes the way an Albariño should. Made my nose and tongue do a happy dance. — 3 years ago
Very nice, not very acidic. I loved the texture. — 3 years ago
Lovely! Bright, lemon/lime, white peach, lime blossoms. Minerally and very refreshing! — 4 years ago
Tried at a tasting, like it, so I bought a bottle. An interesting and unique Albariño. Medium lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus, blossom and biscuit notes. This wine was fermented in oak, and kept on lees for 6 months, with occasional stirring (batonnage), giving a soft creamy yeasty tone to the wine, aging well. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with toasty oak notes and vanilla spice. Long smooth finish, good acidity balance, ending with fruit and oak character. Nice! — 4 years ago
Slightly sweet went well with chicken tender salads on 7.04.19. 2016 vintage if that really matters here.... — 5 years ago
Very minerally, perfect with baked fish — 2 years ago
Birthday purchase. Really enjoyed it! Tart but balanced. I’d seek this wine out again! — 3 years ago
Nice white blend. Not quite as austere as a 100% Albariño. Perfect with the scallops and the lobster tail. — 4 years ago
This yellow-gold wine has aromas that are more herbal than floral, with savory dill bolstering the citrus and stone fruit. The palate carries much citrus along with savory balsamic notes. Acidity is great, and makes for a lively pairing with a variety of salads and seafood. — 5 years ago
Refreshing and interesting. Very enjoyable. Kurt wine — a year ago
Not sure what it was about this white wine, but it seemed to have the perfect balance of sweet and bitter notes with a smooth finish. Not a huge fan of white wines, but I could drink this one any day. — 2 years ago
Facing a natural terrace above the river Miño, located in the town of As Neves, within the wine region of Condado do Tea, bordering Portugal. Pale yellow with pronounced fruit and floral aromas. On the palate white flesh fruit flavors, citrus and herb notes with lively acidity and nice balance of minerality. Crisp on the finish ending with lemon zest notes. Nice! — 4 years ago
Ok... I admit it... this straggler Spanish Albariño lost it’s way in my cellar. 10 years old for a grape not altogether known for longevity... what do I expect? Medium gold in the glass... clear...broken cork. Amazing aroma of pineapple, lychee, and peach. The wine is still alive.. still offering up bright acidity and round weighted fruit. Poured too cold, the aromas intensify as it warms. The wine is rich, round and complex...playing with your palate. I was prepared to dump, had a lessor wine at the ready. But... hell no. This wine rocks. Mr. Perez is often referred to as a trail-blazing maverick...what do I know. The wine is a wonder! — 4 years ago
