Excellent #chardonnay from #aragon #somontano one of the best of #Spain — 2 years ago
Light and fruity with red cherry aromas and a little funk on the nose, dances on the palate with tart cherry and very balanced acid and tannins. Wants some roasted meat! Oaked vs Unoaked Rioja tasting - the unoaked one. #spain #wanderlust2022 — 4 years ago

Delicious white from #spain #monterrei — 2 years ago
Rrrrrrrraowr! Mushroom and potting soil, prime rib and rosemary. Get the fudge outta my way! Can’t! Dark chocolate dominates in graphite-plum and agro-tannin cedar, cinnamon and tobacco force the issue and the black currant is AGGRESSIVELY assertive! Got black pepper in white pepper sauce! Iron rich liver grill without the bitter; shellfish shell, prune and blackberry show sour aspects and oak tannins spread the word. Spanish oak and sensibility prevail. Beast and the best of such.

Rich vanilla nose with ripe blackberries and almost raisin notes that also come through on the palate. Smooth with balanced acid and tannins. Happily sipped alone. Oaked vs Unoaked Rioja tasting - the oaked one. #spain #wanderlust2022 — 4 years ago

The wine poured a deep purple red. It had some flavors of dried red fruit initially. And it finishes with an earthy vegetable essence. There are nice tannins. The wine paired well with the New York grass fed steaks that we paired it with. As other reviewers have mentioned I don’t think it amounts to a 92 rating like wine enthusiast gave it. But for $6.40 at grocery warehouse, it’s a very good value. Supposedly it’s MSRP was $40, but like the wine enthusiast rating, I kind of question that.Nevertheless, I might pick some more up if I see it at grocery warehouse again. #grocerystorewine #redwine #spain #navarra — 2 months ago
