The bright and golden color of the wine offers a rich blast of ripe stone fruits. Elegant notes of quince are enhanced by honeysuckle. The ripeness of the abricot and the greedy of the honey are emphasized by fresh hints of litchi. Dense and intense, the palate offers a perfect balance and lays in the mouth for our greatest joy. — 8 years ago
Wonderfull.

Terrific aged white Burgundy hazelnut, rich, layered, at peak but with no danger of decline, it is ridiculously good right now and puts most white Burgs from more prestigious appellations to shame. A little RS pops its head out with air as it just gets better — 11 years ago

🌷 😍 Here’s a beautiful, bright, biodynamically-produced Beaujolais Cru from Régnié. 🍇 This wine is youthful and fresh. It has a lot of food-pairing potential. 🍗 It’s a lovely spring sipper.
👁 It is a medium ruby wine with pink rim variation and noticeable haze.
👃 On the nose, this wine has a medium(+) intensity of youthful aromas. Aromas include primary notes of fresh, ripe cherry, kirsch, strawberry preserves, rhubarb, violet, bubblegum, cinnamon, wet leaves, and wet stone.
👄 On the palate this wine is dry. It has medium(+) acidity, a medium body, medium alcohol, medium(-) tannins, and a medium intensity in flavor notes. Flavors are mostly consistent with the nose but with more tart fruit characteristics. The finish is medium.

MR dinner 2/2/17. Sharp acidic and well balanced Chard. Went well with seafoods. — 9 years ago
100% Pinot Meunier. A full bodied and fruity champagne. Raspberries and cherries. — 11 years ago
For $18, a great buy. Fresh, young, well balanced. Great acidity. Nothing complex. No overwhelming or particular fruit. But very nice and super easy to drink. Great weekday wine. — 4 years ago
Great P. Meunier, good acidity that suggests we should wait a while to drink it again — 5 years ago

Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 7 years ago
Ok, so now we're experiencing a second, top-tier bottle, from a "Gang of Four" producer...yet to have the Lapierre or Thévenet bottles.
Gamay how I love you so much. Beautiful dried flower and cherry nose, lightly sweet and the finish has wicked length. This was amazing, shared with good friends and a good meal of patiently roasted beef tenderloin. I can't wait to see how this develops in a few years, it needs some time to gain concentration. It will go into hiding in the cellar with the 3.14 bottles and hope they learn something from each other.
