This is a glowing, freshly brilliant Montepulciano thanks to its fermentation process in steel with a controlled with a maceration of up to 12 days. Additionally, the wine underwent thru naturally malolactic fermentation naturally and yet remained on the noble lees for 2 months. It produces a medium to full body, chalky tannins and not so grainy textured finish. Moreover Barba utilized organically grown grapes to this wine. An absolutely fantastic casual option with an incredibly price point. — 7 months ago

Blend of 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe red and black fruits with spice and sweet notes. On the palate very jammy blackberry and ripe cherry, has a sweetness probably from a cold soak or extended maceration, notes of cacao and espresso also on the palate. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with robust fruit, cacao and spice. Organic! Good value! — 2 years ago
Deep straw yellow, apples, almond marzipan. Great QPR. — 5 months ago
Color is very dark ruby red boarding on purple. Aroma is heavy tobacco, coffee and cocoa. A distinct spicy earthy tone lies underneath the aggressive top aromas. Bold spicy plum/cherry sweetness up front with surprisingly subtle tannins finishing heavy with a sharp currant acidity. Getting more towards the bottom of the bottle leans the balance back towards the tannins and less to the acidity. — 5 months ago
Yum orange wine. Rock paper scissors imports mystery case. This one is a winner! — a year ago

Wow. A lot of chocolate in nose. So deep violet deep red color that you can paint a picture with it. Ripe plums, cherries, tobacco at first approach. A pinch of sweetness. Tanins are so smooth that you can sail along them. Strawberries, raspberries, peach, cherries at palate. Long lasting after. Really good one. Had 2014 vintage in 2025. — a month ago
