Wow! Awesome bottle/wine! Lovely gold color. Butter, minerals, Meyer lemons, camomile, and melons on the nose. Same on the palate with a refined texture and massive depth. Super complex wine that could go toe to toe with high-end White Burgs!! Prime drinking age, sad it’s my last of this vintage.
I thought this started to get overpriced, I am dead wrong!! Worth every penny!! — 3 months ago
A nice dry Pinot from Martinborough. November 2023. — 7 months ago
Solid “Baby Amarone!” Dark purple color. Aromas and flavors of ripe dark cherry, cranberry and strawberry fruit with additional notes of forest floor, baking spices and purple flowers. Smooth texture with a silky and juicy finish. Full bodied and rich. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! — 20 days ago
Lots of tropical fruit along with grapefruit. Delicious with food - reminded me of when I visited the winery nearly 20 years ago. — 2 months ago
Cattail creek wine dinner. Characteristics of pencil lead, tobacco, black cherry, and liquorish. The palate has a lifted acidity and spicy tannins but don't obscure the fruit expression. Paired with petite ribeye en persillade. — 4 months ago

An excellent Martinborough Pinot Noir. Rich and luscious like an Otago Pinot but not as overt as Otago usually is. Red and Black cherry with restrained whole bunch influence. Balanced French oak. Craggy Range is based in Hawkes Bay (the winery is a great spot for lunch!) but they were smart enough to establish their Te Muna vineyard in Martinborough - a much better terroir for Pinot Noir. Bob Campbell MW nailed the brief by saying it “delivers power with consummate subtlety. “ A point or two off for a ridiculously heavy bottle. — 2 days ago
