Back at the mother in law and another lunch prep with champagne. This 2012 is nice and hits the mark. Beginning to show show some age — 2 months ago
Nothing like kicking off homemade pizza night with bubbly from Domain Carneros! Enjoyed with Niki Walter Richard Arthur Shannon & Ray at our place in Palo Alto! Perfect balance of dry with hints of strawberry. So fun - artichoke bruschetta sauce, vodka sauce & regular red sauce pizzas with lots of veggies & some sausage - something for everyone! Great company to celebrate deal commitments this week! — 3 months ago
2006 vintage. Cork easy to extract. A rusty rosé color. Slightly dirty/earthy with light-medium body and still plenty of acidity to shepherd the proceedings along in a timely manner. Excellent depth on the finish and well-integrated perfume in the bouquet. Another solid 5-6 years at this level before any noticeable drop-off. 2.14.26. — 7 days ago

2012 vintage. Tasted courtesy of @romo. Nice tension remaining and not totally committed to the overt golden qualities of the involved fruits this effort generally exhibits just yet. Maybe in another 7-8 years but this still had freshness in spades. Impressed enough to put it on the shopping list. Delicious and still fairly focused. Thank you @romo! 01.16.26. — a month ago

The final bottle for our annual Valentine’s Day and carbonara tradition (this time one day early). We skipped last year as my wife was pregnant, nice to be back. Very good, but definitely in an advanced stage - the nuttiness really comes through. There is still great acid, lemon curd, crispness, soft bubbles.
After the full case, I’d say the ones from 2021-2023 were the best.
