Lovely. Some odd odors during the first hour after opening- blue cheese and cabbage.

Good color, smooth, soft, rounded and light tannins.

Cork was a complete mess- took about 5 to ten minutes to clean out.

Nose is not the best I'll admit. Dominated by a green note that won't go away and only got stronger. Under that is a nice nuttiness and some good spice and cherry fruit, but the green vegetal quality is overwhelming. Palate is great though. Light and ephemeral, sappy and delicate. A beautiful example of contrast & tension. Fleshy red berries are at the core surrounded by shimmering acidity and a light spiciness. That spice gently walks the line between an herbal or savory note on the back of the palate. This is on the light side of medium bodied, but possesses an almost creamy texture, yet another contrast.
