Rich and mouth filling in the luscious Felton Road style. Only 20% whole bunch letting the quality of the ripe fruit speak. Intense red and black fruits - raspberry to the fore. This is just a “village “ wine in comparison to their illustrious Block 3 and Block 5 but it more than holds its own. Impossible not to enjoy this wine. — a day ago

@Somm David T It’s certainly up there isn’t it David. I used to enjoy Mount Difficulty as well but don’t see it as much these days.

Yep. I enjoy the hell out of their Chardonnay but it is much more difficult to find than their Pinot in the US.

Terrific NZ Pinot, nice clean lines of fruit and acidity and has silky smooth tannins.
This has matured nicely since my last bottle three years ago.

Barrel-fermented, pale lemon color, aromas of stone and tropical fruit with citrus, honeysuckle and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of peach, ripe apple, melon and lemon citrus, crisp with herb floral spice. Well balanced, lively acidity, long finish ending with fruit and wet stone character.
