Purplish in color with a reddish rim.
Nice nose and medium in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing raspberries, red cherries, currants, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth and tobacco.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Single Vineyard Mourvedre from Bandol is rich and fruit forward. Elegant and easy drinking.
Already delicious, although still very young, and needs a few more years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years.
Nicely balanced and good by itself as a sipping wine. Will pair nicely with food too.
A blend of 85% Mourvèdre, with Grenache and Cinsault. Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Used the Durand on the cork - soaked to the edge. Decanted for 2 hours.
This wine had some gaminess. Smooth. Fruit was a bit wild and overpowered by the savory flavors.
Paired well with the chicken skewers and onions. Needed complex flavors in the food to pair well.
Good but quite a bit below the Beaucastel — 2 months ago
Wanted something to go with carnitas tonight. Not sure if this will pair well, but it is very tasty. I stole a premature sip while the meat cooks. Lots and lots of berries, tart, blue and red. I smell Syrah. Bright acidity, medium tannins. Terroir, stone. It feels a little Old World.

Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. 2014 was a cool and wet vintage. Mushroom, tobacco, sage, licorice, earth and cedar flavors dominate the dried cherry and currant fruit. Muscular wine. — 2 months ago

Slightly deeper salmon pink, more copper toned . More fruited than the Cristal , more strawberry , raspberry , floral character, limestone hints. On the palate this is rounder and more juicy , fruit driven in style , with strawberry , raspberry and some orange rind . Quite good density and balance . Good red fruited , chalky , finish . This is showing well , quite rounded and inticimg in style , open and generous . This is showing well now and I would imagine it will continue to do so over the next 10 years plus. — a month ago
