Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Brut Rosé pours a very pretty pale pink with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with attractive notes of strawberry, raspberry, lemon curd, brioche and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and silky smooth. A quaffable Rosé that’s easy to like for its balance and approachability. Drink now. Base harvest 2017. Disgorged in October of 2022. — 3 months ago
2022 vintage. Lots of changes in 2022, as Xavier Planty sold his shares to Matthieu Gufflet. Xavier's son, Luc Planty took care of a smooth transition ( check him out for his ambitious project at Château de Malle!) when Sandrine Garbay (Château Yquem's maître de chai for more than 2 decades) was nominated as a general manager. Her first vintage is excellent, with beautiful aromatics (roasted pineapple, vanilla, mango, honey, and flowers). Layered and intense with lots of botrytis, but also an amazingly refreshing acidity which reminds me of the 2014 Sauternes vintage. Exquisite balance, layered, and with a very long, fresh finish with a subtle almond bitterness. Excellent, and still very affordable for this quality. A pleasure to taste now, but I expect true magic in a decade or more. Ab. 13,5%. — 2 years ago
Some goji in the mix, and a little peat. Very particular moment. Would crush with curry — 3 years ago

Yellow/green crisp color with a strong, aromatic nose that’s both stone-fruity and funky, this is a nice, crisp surprise. Strangely the nose has some turpentine like hints to it, along with some brioche-like Chardonnay notes, with white peach and fresh green hay. Medium bodied, but still slightly silky. — a year ago

Last wine of the line up. Great minerality, with some chalk on the nose. Some width, some chalky mouthfeel, almost chablisiesque. Probably the crowd's champion tonight. — 3 years ago

HAPPY 4TH!
TIME TO CELEBRATE!
Light golden in color.
Nice nose of citrus, lemons, green apples, yeast, light brioche and minerals.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and medium sized bubbles.
Dry on the palate with limes, light grapefruits, herbs, spices, yeast, earth and sea salt.
Long finish with limes and light marzipan notes.
This is a delicious Champagne. Still very young, but already very approachable. Well balanced and complex. Tangy and entertaining.
Good right off the bottle, and better after 45 minutes of airtime.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years, and showing potential to become a 94 point wine.
Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food.
A blend of 53% Pinot Noir and 47% Chardonnay. Aged for 9 years on the lees.
12% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
