The wine has a lovely golden color, showing some age and oak. The nose is somewhat muted, but fascinating, nonetheless. An earthy tone drapes over some Meyer lemon, oak spice and a beautiful caramel note. The palate is great, not too oaky - just enough - and a very clean and full mouth. The citrus note advances first, followed by that incredible earth with a creme brulee finish. And the acidity is zippy, too. I could hardly ask for more from a Chardonnay than what is delivered here. — 9 years ago

Pale salmon all seashell and saltwater on the nose. So we have both river and ocean in one glass, boom. Jumpy but fine bubbles and same as nose but add in lilacs and raspberries so we are moving from water to land. Then the bubbles burst upon the tongue and we have sky. Am I missing any element? Nah, this is fire.
Well-priced fire to boot. Trentodoc I see you.

Rich smells of milk chocolate, ripe blackberries brambles and fresh blueberries, with hints of white mushroom, tart cherry, and saltwater taffy. Medium-light weight, deep opaque red with rich oily umami mouthfeel and light red fruits like cherry and plum on the palate, and soft well polished black tea tannins lingering nicely on the finish. Very interesting red, like a poor-mans-Ho-Brion (😉), would probably go well with tomato-cream sauce dishes and grilled meats or great by itself. Great value — 5 years ago
