Full bodied whisky with a very pronounced nose of dried fruit, barley, and grapes (no surprise there really!) The palate follows the nose with an added extra of toffee notes. A drop of water reveals more honeyed flavours with a finish of grape and vanilla.

new release amarone cask. Pale amber with a slight pink hue.
Saltwater taffy, Turkish delight, salted caramel, plums, cherries, some faint iodine, big alcohol heat at the finish. Some sweetness and honey give it decent weight but still only medium bodied. Overall good complexity and an interesting whisky.
