19. Vieilles Vignes. Perfect maturity but will hold 10 years at least. Overpowering mature pinot nose, not farmyardy. Deep ruby with some sign of age. Complete , balanced. V long. — 7 years ago

Ruby red color with a watery rim. Hint of large game blood, wet earth, and fresh dark cherries on the scent. Ripe dark fruit up front, sweet almost; followed by stern tannings and a dry finish. A young wine, medium body, almost light alcohol but with lots of character yet easy drinking. Unassuming wine, extremely enjoyable. One of those, great all-around, Southern Rhône blends... — 6 years ago

Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 7 years ago
18- 1999. Robust, still some tannin, rich Pinot nose, young appearance, good fruit. Not subtle! — 10 years ago
Smoky, meaty, and minty, good but needs lamb. — 2 years ago
Nose on this bursts right out of the bottle. Big white stone fruit with nice a balance of mineral acidity. — 6 years ago
