“Richebourg” of the South per Anne Gros. Hard to read. Lots there, excellent acidity. Curious where this goes in 6-10+. — 4 years ago
Huge with lots of good fruit notes solid acidity and enough tannin to last another 10 years — 7 years ago

Pretty incredible wine full stop. Not that familiar with super old burgundy but felt a little northern Rhône like on the nose but much more resolved and elegant on the palette. — 6 years ago
@Ron R @David L Thanks for taking this Pic Ron!!! The 90 was tight out of the bottle. The 04 was showing significantly better. Obviously, these aren't meant to be pop & pours. I found the 04 plateauing and to 90. Onto yes to evolve in the glass. I think this bottle has40+ years left in it. It's that good. I prefer Richebourg in comparison of DRC burgs but this was a Rockstar nonetheless. Such purity and Elegance prancing on your palate with a finish that lingered for minutes. I've been saving this bottle for a special occasion and last nights Wine Nerd Herd event fit the bill! 😍👏👏👏👏👏😍. Spectacular wine. The only thing better were the friends at our table. — 8 years ago

Faded a bit after the first ~half hour, but still- wow. — 4 years ago
Consistent notes from 21 weeks ago. My last bottle still with the crinkled label from a humidity issue from the wine fridge. Showing sweet sappy red fruits like strawberry with Sous Bois. With further swirling Violet notes. A wonderful 1er Cru Burgundy showing the twin attributes of the 2009 vintage and the terroir of Les Suchots which shares a border to the south with Romanee Saint Vivant and Richebourg and to the north with Clos Saint Denis - all Grand Crus. Finishes with the finest of powdery tannins - basically resolved. — 5 years ago
After about 45 minutes the funk did blow off leaving amazing aromas of Asian spice and forest floor, with a slightly olive finish. Terrific balance and clearly the tannic spine so characteristic of the 61 vintage has allowed this wine to age gracefully — 6 years ago
No. 2 in the Vosne Romanee lineup. My brief notes - Beautiful nose and palate. More intensity than No. 1. Interestingly the DRC Richebourg was described as having more “Star Power” than the DRC La Tache. Having tasted this Richebourg I can fully appreciate that comment. — 7 years ago
