Deep purple in color; blueberries, plums, and dried flowers on the nose; medium plus acidity; high tannins, so tannic it's chewy; tastes like raspberries, violets, crushed gravel, and wet slate with a long finish. Well balanced flavors. I love it. — 2 months ago

Dec. 25, 2023. Probably past prime. But 'tis the season, so used it for NYTimes recipe Port Toddies. Merry and bright halfway through my second. Looking forward to finishing bottle on New Years Day. — 4 months ago
Blend of 50% Touriga Nacional, 35% Touriga Franca, 10% Tinta Roriz, 4% Tinta Barroca & 1% Alicante Bouschet, aged in used French oak for 14 months, aromas of fresh dark berry flavors with herb, spice and cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and plum with licorice, cedar, espresso and spicy herbs. Fine ripe tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, cedar, spice and herb character. Nice value! — a month ago

Bright golden color. Aromas of tropical fruits, white flowers and sea spray. The palate leans more toward pear and unripe peach with a pleasant herbal note on the finish. Mouth filling texture, medium body and crisp acidity. There is a bit of weight (pleasant) but it’s not over the top. Still fresh (opened almost five years past the vintage date) and quite fruit forward. So interesting! — 4 days ago
